New solar power project comes online in Nevada

From the Reno Gazette-Journal comes news of the completion of the first of six solar power installations planned for Southern Nevada. When all finished, the plants will generate a combined 3.1 megawatts of power, enough for 225 to 700 households, depending on the season.
