By MB-BigB | June 16, 2006
The June 14th edition of the LA Times gave more details about Toyota’s intent to increase its hybrid reach. Not only are they actively researching plugin hybrids, but they are also plannig on introducing models that run on ethonal (E85).
One more interesting tidbit - they are ” ‘getting close’ to achieving a 50% reduction in the development and production costs of conventional hybrid systems for its upcoming models.” That means hybrid prices getting much closer to that of conventional models.
