Israel looking to get 50% of electricity from solar

From Israel21c comes an article about plans to build a solar power plant in the Negev desert which will provide 50% of the country’s electricity needs within 15 years. The plant, which is expected to start producing power in 2 and a half years, will also provide electricty to neighboring Jordan.
