Napa, California dedicates new 365 KW solar power system
By MB-BigB | October 6, 2006
The new solar power system will allow the City of Napa to defray a portion of its yearly electric bill. Using a design that allows the solar panels to track the sun automatically during the day, the city expects to save approx $100,000 annually, and $3.2 million over the next 25 years in deferred electricity costs. The plant is on an underutilized portion of land owned by the City.
