Hydro-charger launched in Queenstown, New Zealand

By MB-BigB | December 17, 2006

We mentioned the Hydro-charger a couple of weeks ago and mentioned that the official launch of this hydrogen on demand system for internal combustion engines was to be officially launched on Dec 11th. At the event, the Hydro-charger was demoed in “a variety of applications including cars, buses, farm equipment and even a generator.” Not much more information seems to be available, but there was also an announcment of a “Hydrogen Challenge” where an assortment of retrofitted vehicles will have their fuel use and emissions monitored and measured against benchmarks. Read a little more about it here.

I haven’t seen any updates at all. Nothing from any of the developers of the Hydro-Charger (H to go, Global Energy Options), or the New Zealand company Vision Energy that was showing it off down there. The H to Go website doesn’t mention the Hyrdro-Charger, but it does talk about something called MAPSOE (which stands for (Most Abundant Power Source on Earth) as their flagship product. MAPSOE sounds like the same thing as the Hydro-Charger, but again, there’s no news on the MAPSOE.

I think that I’m going to email the three companies involved just to see if there’s any news. I would tend to think that if there was anything good happening we would have seen it in a press release. If I hear anything I’ll do an update.

Units do NOT work! That’s why you won’t hear about them. These units hve been sprouting up since the 1970’s and none have ever made it anywhere because the technology is floored. Breaking hydrogen bonds takes more energy than combusting hydrogen will give back.
I know some gentlemen who developed the technology through-out the ’90’s and discovered what is really going with the units… if you want more info email them: h2o_injection@37.com
