GM to Sell Cheapest Hybrid Yet
By MB-BigB | March 20, 2007
General Motors has announced plans to sell the lowest priced hybrid on the US market beginning this month. The Saturn Aura sedan has a starting price of $22.695, which is $100 less than the Toyota Prius. While the EPA mileage rating is less than the Prius, it is equal to the Honda Accord hybrid at 28 miles per gallon in the city and 35 mpg on the highway, and the Aura is considered a midsize sedan, so its more logical competitor would be the Honda Accord and Toyota Camry.
