New Wisconsin wind power project to begin this summer

The largest wind power project in Wisconsin will begin construction this summer when We Energies starts bullding a $300 million wind farm in Fond du Lac County.
The project, which consists of 88 turbines bought from Vestas Wind Systems of Denmark is expected to start operation in less than one year. The turbines will generate 145 megawatts of electricity which will power about 36,000 homes.
