Another Hybrid Vehicle Launched in China
By MB-BigB | December 18, 2007
Edmunds.com has the scoop on a new hybrid car that’s being launched in China. The hybrid version of the Chang’an Jiexun crossover should go on sale in China next year. The Jiexun HEV hybrid will meet the Chinese equivalent of the Euro IV emissions and is expected to get about 36 mpg. One powerful selling note is the the Jiexun HEV is only about 20% higher than the non-hybrid Jiexun - it will run about $20,000, which is about one half the price of the China built Prius.
