Initial details on new Honda Hybrid
By MB-BigB | April 1, 2008
We’re starting to hear some of the details about the new Honda Hybrid, which is expected to be shown at the Paris Motor Show. Honda’s new hybrid, which doesn’t yet have a name, will be priced below the current Honda Hybrid Civic and will be cheapest hybrid on sale in the US - it’s also being reported that the car will have a “futuristic look”, similar to the Honda FCX fuel cell car.
Another detail emerging is that the car won’t have lithium-ion batteries. While lots of companies are working on lithium-ion, it looks like both Toyota and Honda feel that lithium-ion are not yet reliable enough to be used.
