Dyson engineers working on electric car designs
By MB-BigB | June 25, 2008
Sir James Dyson, inventor of those cool looking Dyson bagless vacuum cleaners you’ve probably seen advertised on TV , has his engineers working on developing a lightweight powerful electric motor that could greatly expand the range of electric cars. Â Dyson sees his cars powered by solar panels on the roof of the cars or on garages. Â Dyson has lots of experience in motor design. Â The motor in his vacuums weighs about half of what a similar sized motor does, and turns much faster than similar motors.
