Great story in which the Mercury News Roadshow columnist Gary Richards describes his experiences with his new Prius, thereby incurring the wrath of half of his readers.
“My friend Tom McGuire leaned over and eyed me hard: “Don’t, don’t, don’t ever tell people what you did,” he said, finger wagging sternly. “Half of your readers will hate you, absolutely hate you.”
Folks, it’s time to ‘fess up. I’m not listening to Tom. I’m telling all.
I now own a Prius.”
