Most of the headlines these days are over hybrids, but there’s alot of other things going on in the alternative fuel front. E85, which is a mix of 85% ethanol and 15% gasoline, is being pushed by GM. One of the problems with E85 is that there are very few gas stations that currently sell it. That may be changing, as Kroger’s is making plans to begin selling E85 at some of its stores in Texas, Ohio, and Kentucky. And Walmart is also considering selling E85 at its fuel centers.
