This is one of those ideas that, in the past, seemed to make a whole bunch of sense until you examined the underlying equation. It’s possible that with $3.00 gasoline, that equation is changing.
“The incremental cost of solar PV panels on hybrid cars and displacing gasoline has a payback period that is much shorter than the payback for solar PV panels on buildings and displacing electricity.
