Honda’s new Prius fighter – the 2010 Insight
By MB-BigB | January 18, 2009
There’s a couple of agreeable reviews out there that you might want to read if you’re interested in a fairly low cost hybrid. While prices haven’t been set, it looks like Honda is positioning their new 2010 Insight to those who don’t want to spend the extra coin to buy a Prius. USA today expects the Insight to be rated at 40 mpg in the city, and 43 highway, which is respectable, but it won’t beat the 2010 Prius, which is what Toyota is promising for their new version of the Prius. The overall verdict from USA Today? ”Not refined enough if priced near Civic hybrid or Prius. Worth a hard look if priced as an economy car.”
If you’re interested in the initial reviews of the 2010 Honda Insight, check out USA Today, Chicago Sun-Times , and the Montreal Gazette.
