Next Gen Hybrid Designs from Toyota and Honda on Display in Geneva
By MB-BigB | March 6, 2007
A couple of pictures and descriptions are on hand at Anandtech’s DailyTech page. Honda showed their Small Hybrid Sports Concept (SHSC) car. Honda’s SHSC pairs a 4 cylinder engine with their Integrated Motor Assist (IMA) hybrid drive and a continuously variable transmission.
Toyota also is showing its Hybrid-X. While the Hybrid-X uses the latest version of Toyota’s Hybrid Synergy Drive, the Hybrid-X has LED headlights and taillights, LED interior lights and rear seats that can swivel 12 degrees.
Update – there’s lots more coverage today – here’s a couple of links to sites with more pictures and descriptions.
