Review of the Toyota 2007 Camry Hybrid
By MB-BigB | November 24, 2006
SeattlePI.com has a review of the new Toyota 2007 Camry hybrid. While more expensive than a standard Camry, the hybrid model gets 40 mpg in the city and 38 mpg highway. The reviewer actually averaged 36.4 mpg in combined highway and city driving, but that was with the air conditioning on (temps were in the 90’s) which limited the amount of time the power was from the electic motor only.
He liked the overall ride – it rode like a “normal” sedan, except for a slight “golf-cart feel” when it was riding on electric power only. The hybrid version also has 4.6 cubic feet less trunk space due to the size of the batteries. Read the full review here.
