Toyota unveils hot new hybrid sports car, the FT-HS
By MB-BigB | February 26, 2008
Pretty sharp looking, if you ask me. Some people are saying that some form of the FT-HS will become the new Toyota Celica, which is a car that I’ve always had a fondness for (although I’ve never owned one). Toyota, at the Melbourne International Motor Show, today unveiled its FT-HS concept car. The hybrid FT-HS mates an electric motor to a 3.5 litre gasoline engine – the front engine rear wheel drive design allows the FT-HS to hit speeds of 100 km/h (about 50 miles/hour) in about four seconds. No word yet on gas mileage.
