Get Your Wind Power Credits Here!

Whole Foods just started a program where customers can buy Wind Power Cards at the checkout counter. Here’s how it works – the cards, which are issued by Renewable Choice Energy are priced at $5 for 250 kilowatt hours, and $15 for 750 kilowatt hours. While buying that card doesn’t mean that the electricity you get at your house will come from wind power, it guarantees that the company will put that amount of wind generated electricity into the power grid on the customer’s behalf. Another company named Green-e, will verify that no two wind power credits will represent the same electricity on the grid.
