By MB-BigB | May 28, 2007
The Forrest City Summit states that negotiations for a 100 turbine wind farm near Crystal Lake, Iowa are about 90 percent complete. The negotiations are for 161 kilowatt transmission lines that will bring power from the wind farm to the Lime Creek Power Station. The company (FPL Energy LLC, a subsidiary of Florida Power and Light) wants to begin construction of the wind farm in 2008 with completion expected in the same year.
