Two New Wind Power Projects to Triple Oregon’s capacity

From AG Weekly comes news of two new projects being built in Oregon. The first one, being built by Portland General Electric in Biglow Canyon, will provide up to 450 megawatts, while the second project – the Klondike III project, which is being developed by PPM Energy of Portland, will provide up to 272 megawatts. While there is no firm timetable for either project, its anticipated that they will both be completed by Dec 31, 2007 in order to receive federal tax credits.
